What's new

What video game are you playing?

I managed to get through Last of Us and all the Uncharteds on the PS3. Great games filled with the kind of action I like. I still have Valkyria Chronicles sitting somewhere. I really liked the art style, but just couldn't get used to the game play. It felt strange playing that kind of game on a console. I'll have to dig it out sometime and give it another shot.

If you guys are on PS4...you may have already played these but here's a few I really like. These are all older games that re-released with updated graphics, etc.

The Last of Us (remastered)...one of the best games I've ever played in my life.
Valkyria Chronicles (remastered)...a tactical RPG with great art and story
Uncharted Collection...an adventure storytelling game this includes the first 3 games; Part 4 out in April.

Upcoming games:
Dark Souls III is out in April.
No Man's Sky in June. An open universe exploration survival game where you will explore, mine materials and do space combat.

I haven't played the Remastered version of The Last of Us, but the PS3 version was EPIC. One of the best games I've ever played.

Just got back into gaming after dealing with a couple long school semesters and a relationship that took up all my free time. Enjoying Dishonored, Battlefield 3 and Fallout: New Vegas on the Xbox 360 and about to order an Xbox One so I can play Halo 5, Star Wars Battlefront, and Tom Clancy's The Division.

Currently playing Mortal Kombat X. I haven't played a fighting game in a long time and really having a blast with this one. Also playing Bro-Force (the free PS+ game this month) its pretty fun if I want to kill about 20 minutes.

I plan on picking up The Division for PS4 when It comes out Tuesday.

I just swooped back my old PS2 from my kids room, who had pretty much just used it for a DVD player. I think I'm gonna play some awesome old games very soon!

Still grinding away at Fallout: New Vegas. I'm at level 28. Chased Benny out of the Casino and am grinding away up side missions for a while. I'm currently collecting eggs for Red Lucy (nightstalker now). I'm on my 3rd follower, Raul. I finished Boone and Cassidy's side missions. Still using Ede, love the enemy detection.

I've been spending time hitting areas of the map I neglected in my first play-through. I'm so impressed with all the stuff I missed: Bittersprings, the sewers, all the Ranger Stations, etc.

I'll be picking up Rocksmith for the 360 sometime this month. I have an electric guitar that has been collecting dust for at least a year. Maybe interacting with a game will get me to use it more. After that, I'll start putting some fun money aside for a new system.

Speaking of grind, I'm still having fun with Destiny. I don't do raids and only PvE, but it is keeping me hooked. Just started a new Warlock character and having fun using a bunch of different weapons.

Occasionally mixing it up with some Lego Jurassic World.

Been grinding through black ops 3 on PS4, levelling weapons and unlocking specialist gear. Occasionally flip to xboxone play fallout4 and Rise of the tomb raider.

Still playing Forza Motorsport 6. Lots of cool new events being done lately, including Lamborghini Super Trofeo league, and corresponding rivals (hot lapping) events, where you can earn a special in-game car only available for participating. Lots of fun!

I've also been playing Star Wars Battlefront a bit, and started in on Fallout 4 again today after not playing for a while.

Alright, it took me a few weeks but I persevered. I went from barely being able to kill one thing in The Witcher 3 (on Death March mode) to playing like a normal game now. Once I got just enough to buff my signs and a little luck I was able to kill the griffin and then continue with the game.

I'm still only lvl 9 and have done a TON of quests and there's so much undiscovered stuff on the map. This game is massive and the depth is unbelievable. I'm still only in Velen.

I'm so glad I stuck it out because it's getting easier (even on Death March) and it's just so well made. Every aspect is top notch.

Just picked up Mortal Kombat X on the cheap. Haven't played a MK since Ultimate MK3.

I had a brief fling with Street Fighter 4, but I just never could get in to Street Fighter. I think it is a great fighter and I loved the art style of SF2, but it just isn't for me.

I just bought Rocksmith. Maybe that cheap Ibanez will finally get some use. Of course I only the 360 plugged into the TV via HDMI, which the instructions say is not recommended. Now I need to see if I still have my A/V adapter.

Been playing the crap out of The Division. I have two other friends that are really into it and its pretty fun to play in a group. Its very similar loot driven game to Diablo and destiny.

Borderlands 2, and Borderlands the pre-sequel.

I played a bit of borderlands and the pre-sequel, but I could just never get in to it. Shame because I liked the cell shaded art style a lot.

I'm currently deciding if I should spend the money on the Day of the Tentacle remaster. It is one of my favourite adventure games ever. I still have the original disc around here somewhere, but the lure of crisp hi res art and directors commentary is super temping.

S&K Collection (not actually playing in windowed mode, just windowed it for the screencap).

I love borderlands. It's just a loot grind like Diablo, but in first person. I find myself always saying, "just one more mission".

Games with Gold has the original Boarderlands up for free until the end of the month. I jumped in one the 2nd one, so this is a nice treat.

Yeah I saw the first one is free currently. It's a good good game, but I'm biased since I love the series.
