PTFE coated Gems - is it me or are they really shavable?

I am the opposite. I prefer the PTFE blades over the carbon blades.

I use the Stainless PTFE blades almost exclusively, mainly because I'm too lazy to remove and dry the blade after every shave. Like others, I've noticed that they are a little harsh for the first couple of shaves (but not what I'd call "horrible") and then I'm good for a week or more of smooth close shaves.

I just got some on razorbladesandmore.com too and I rally love these blades way more than what I've used before.

I've used the regular SS which were horrible and the CVS carbons which were a little better but not great like the PTFE's.

I can use one blade in one week where as the others were like 3-4 shaves. These that I have left will last me awhile since I don't use a SE razor all the time. I've got 47 blades left so that's basically 47 weeks.

Me too.

+1 IMHO, life's too short to spend time on razor blade maintenance.
