Let's remember here that although they are now pro football players. They still are football players. The same guys you and I went to high school with. Same modus operundi, same attitudes, same intellectual capacities. Just with a whole lot mo' money now.

How come Seattle cheats at every home game? Their fans are so loud the opposing team can't hear the signals. That's an unfair competitive advantage.

Is there a rule regarding decibel levels at NFL stadiums? :p

There used to be. Back in the 90s the refs would call a 5 yard penalty if the crowd noise was considered too loud. In fact it's still in the rule book (in the "Timing" section of the digest):

"When, in the judgment of the Referee, the level of crowd noise prevents the offense from hearing its signals, he can institute a series of procedures which can result in a loss of team time outs or a five-yard penalty against the defensive team."
