Let's See Your German Steel

Noticed that there is a thread for pretty much every other country in the razor pictures sticky.

We need one for the best razors out there now. :)

Here's two of mine. My best shavers. Love me some good old German steel with a stiff hollow grind.

13/16 Wusthof made Hoffritz Barbers King.

Most German blades don't have a stiff grind; the ones that do were probably made for other markets. Here are my three blades with stiff hollow grind: Fontana, Tuckmar and Kama. Usually Tuckmar and Kama blades aren't stiff at all.

I know it's not German steel and it was made in Japan but no one can doubt the connection with he Barber King so here we have my Japanese made Three Kings, and another amazing shaver my Boehler Stahl full hollow 13/16 and the usual suspect my Henckels 17 full hollow 7/8.

Here are 2 restored razors from Mark (mycarver)

The first one is a heirloom that's date 1904 and was probably used in the War. The scales are plastic and the tang is bone.

The 2nd one is a J.A. Henckels #40

Enjoy

The vast majority of my collection is German, but here's an interesting piece. A NOS Worked Back De'Peres Magnetic Cutlery Co. 7-day set, with a matching 159 blade (also NOS) in MoP.
