what a beauty...I want one of _those_!
Posting two SOTDs since I didn't get the chance to post the last one yet. Starting today, I'll be shaving with my top three razors for my final three shaves of OCtober.

Time to get caught up with my SOTD OCtober photos. Yesterday i picked up 4 new razors, 2 Schicks and 2 new Open Combs.
Now back to the shaves.

OCtober 25 - Shave 25
Todays shave is with my brand new unkown Old Type clone. The only markings on the razor are a "G/N" and "Made In England" on the baseplate. Loaded the razor with an unknown Gilltette blade in a White wrapper and ended up with a shave as good as any of my other "New" or "Old Type" razors.

Well i keep getting side tracked lately last two shaves 10/24 and 10/25 with the RRjaws and a fraken soap i mixed for the hell of it. ill give it a few more shaves before i pass judgement on it maybe since its a franken soap talk about it on Halloween? Anyway first was ccs 2nd bbs.

Frankenrazor #3 (Jaws cap with British Military issue BP on Perfecta handle)
7 o'clock yellow
Biotique Bio Palmyra
Vega Nylon Brush
Alum Block
Clubman musk
Another mild combination, though maybe only a tad more aggressive than yesterday's FR. However, it was very difficult to make out the difference, except for the handle length. A nice 3.5 pass near BBS with only slight irritation.
Here's the blade edge and blade gap, but these pics are quite deceptive, maybe because of what you see in the last pic - in spite of the gap and the edge, the combination results in a negative exposure.

Canadian Old Type ball end razor
Had a nice comfortable shave with this razor.
EJ Sandalwood soap face lathered with Semogue boar brush.
Voskhod blade.
Speick splash.

Finished the blade out on the New and will finish OCtober with the Fatip. I don't think I will ever go back to my 34C or Tech on a regular basis. It's open combs all the way from here. I am a believer now!

Oct 26, razor 26: Replated Rotbart Mond Extra. Very similar to a SR. May be a touch harsher.
