I was given this thing the other day:





I don't think any part of it is related to any other part. Put together, it rattles, but with a blade it's tight (just). It shaves okay. Not great, not crap, somewhere in the middle.

This frankenrazor, discovered by taco8slo, is a close second. Or is it tied for first? I don't know, but it is very sad ...

They are on the rare side, and their design is kind of exotic in comparison to the Gillette line up.

My interest is rooted in the cool "Eclipse" engraving in the gnarling on the handle, the metallic red band that creates the "Red Ring" name and I really like the idea of the magnet on the bottom of the razor to pick up blades.
