Update!

My shaves keep getting better and better. I'm starting to get the technique down on my jawline (definitely the hardest part of the face). I've got a routine going and I'm loving every second of it! Thanks for all of the encouragement!

I'm actually thinking of getting another brush now. Synthetic or boar. The choices...

It takes time, but eventually it falls into place. And like golf, there are always parts of your game where you can learn another trick or two!

Synthetic or boar.

My personal preference would be one of the new synthetics. They require no breaking in, are quite soft and comfortable and produce a good lather quickly.

I find boar takes a long break in period after which it is a nice brush.
