Another ID job!

Could this be a Fatboy (Tech) from the 40's? I think (but I don't know for certain) that the case is original.

I'm sorry if I'm testing your patience, guys, but I want to learn and learning requires asking questions to the right sources!

Not a Fatboy. That's a fat handled Tech made in the UK.

It's a Tech alright, but not a Fatboy Tech ... those are two different razors.

The Fatboy is a TTO adjustable :

Argh. Embarassed now. Of course. I knew that. I actually meant fat handle (I know it's easy to claim in retrospect, but I sat for a couple of hours admiring Cap's cleanup of Fatboys...).

What do you think of the case? I have seen pictures of it, but more often the two-tone kind.

this set looks right for me. It´s a WWII set. There are many matches with this case at the WWII time. What is the date code on the blades?

I don't know. Just bought this, but haven't received it yet!

This is the closed comb cousin to the English I pin flat bottom NEW.

Your Tech looks a lot like mine:



I have been labelling this as an English Tech Set No 27 as per Achim's site here:

The blades didn't accompany the set, so I could be wrong - Achim, what do you think?
