Newly found Wade and Butcher 13/16 true wedge
I picked this up today, any info would be appreciated, first true wedge, date of manufacturer? tips for restoring - sanding, buffing, should I keep etching and original patina etc. thanks for the help,

Another nice score man.

With that etching on the blade I'm sure that's not a "true" wedge. There are very few true wedges out there. All that I have seen have been near wedges worn down.

Excellent point, it is not much but there is a very tiny space for daylight to get through when a I put a straight edge across it, thanks
 
I'd do a very minimal resto on this one. Also I'd hone it with tape. They're not all that bad to hone
