A great actor and director, philanthropist and by all accounts, a wonderful man.

Rest in Peace good man.

Watched Attenborough's Gandhi again recently. Beautifully filmed, with a memorable performance from Ben Kingsley in the title role. Well worth seeing.

Enjoyed his work ever since I saw him on the big screen at the age of 5 in Doctor Dolittle.

Rest in peace Sir.

Wow. He'll be missed. I saw "A Bridge To Far" in 1977 and it's still my favorite war movie.

Great actor and director. I remember seeing 10 Rillington Place when I was about ten years old. Chilling was the word for his portrayal. Of course I had no clue as to his fame at the time. He looked so different in the role. I also enjoyed his take as a hard nosed detective in the Metropolitan Police in the John Wayne vehicle, Brannigan. RIP Lord Attenborough.

The players of my youth are exiting the stage.

The end of an era is almost complete. Difficult to consider.
