Awesome study and composition, I love the way you caught just a glimpse of all the contrasting colors and textures of the gear, and then amplified them somehow, as opposed to merely grabbing a cool shot of the gear, Bravo!

Mark did a great job, removing the crud on scales while preserving the detail. On the metal, he took off just enough surface to achieve a fabulous matte finish on the blade and honed a really nice edge. I tried to keep strong side lighting and to show the detail and his workmanship, even down to the consistent scratch pattern on the bevel. Needless to say, she shaved smoothly!

Coate’s Sandalwood today. It just about lathers itself! Always a winner! The Rapira Swede and Slim always come through just fine too. I got an excellent smooth, close, and nick free shave. I finished with Pino.
