National Rum Day

Saturday August 16 is National Rum Day. I plan on having Bacardi Anejo. Straight or mixed, I have not yet decided.

Edit: Decision made. Rum and tonic with a twist.

Kirkland Spiced Rum, which evidently is their rebrand of Sailor Jerry's. I love Sailor Jerry's straight and neat in a snifter, so I figured that the Kirkland's would be just as awesome but for $7-10 less. It totally is .

Ideally, it would Sailor Jerry's. Since we're going out, it remains to be seen what the restaurant has. It will most likely be rubbish, though. If I'm lucky, it'll be Bacardi.

Due to the available ingredients, I had a Caipirissima. This is a Caiprinha with rum instead of cachaça. I had only Bacardi Gold in the cabinet.
