I thought it as kind of enlightening too. You hear people talk about stuff and wonder. The part that struck me was the hardness for a good edge that can be maintained by mere mortals, 55-58 and 60-62.

great info. along with this yesterday I found a you tube video on the tv show " How it's Made " on the subject of razor blades. great great video on something I took a little for granted.

cant do much with computers. little too old but I found it by How its made Double Edge Razorblades. also have straight razors one and others. not necessarily hardness or sharpness but interesting

mbrando is it easy to learn how to imbed that you tube site? like to learn if possible

When writing a post you will see a button that looks like a film strip next ot a box with a tree in it. Click the film strip. It then pop up a window that will ask "Enter your video clip URL below." Enter the video's URL e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9PnTPIKd3g

It will put your URL in VIDEO tags. When you save the video will show in the post like below.
