Great Video Capt. Thanks for posting.
You know what I'd do with one of those?....ya, this could get interesting, I don't think you're ready for this..."custom exotic hardwood handle retrofitted to the adjustable head"Wizamet was a communist era manufacturer so they were just churned out. In 1992 they were bought out by Gillette and all remaining production was moved to Russia. As for the base metal I will take a look at some of my damaged ones in the morning, I'm guessing brass with nickel plate. To be honest most of the wizamets I find have very little damage to the head, it's always the plastic handle that shows wear, or more strangely, melt damage??
You are absolutely welcome sir! Thanks Cap. I look forward to watching the vid.
Don't mention it brother! Disassembly is actually fairly easy, it's reassembly that proved difficult, for me anyways. Thanks for this CAP! I have not watched the video yet, but how difficult is disassembling the Slim compared to the Fatboy?
Glad you enjoyed[emoji106]Great Video Capt. Thanks for posting.
Awesome video! Makes me want to try and take my slim apart and clean it up. Keep up the great work!
You're welcome[emoji106]Thanks cap
Nice job, Captain. I wish I were as handy as you. If I did this most likely I would drop one of the small parts and lose it.
Thank you, Alex.Great thread Captain.
It's the least I can doThat's one great video. Thanks for contributing that expertise to the community here.
Doing my best here! Super Adjustable eh?What an awesome job you've been doing with these.
The super adjustable must be next!
Aye, you sir are correct! When I made this determination, I did so with the razor closed and locked down while I turned the adjustment knob. It does seem as though the blade bed plate moves up and down when really it is the rest of the head assembly that is moving. Thank you for pointing this out! My apologies on the Juvenile wet-shaver assumption Gentlemen I am learning with y'allExcellent video of the process. I only have a one quibble...
Why yes, often times I compare my Fatboy to my 1954 Chevrolet 3100 1st series pickup truck[emoji106]Great video. I'm subscribed. The Slim Adjustable razor is awesome! Made in the U.S.A. [emoji106]
Nicely done.
