I didn't post any pictures last week (but I did take some) as I spent it trying out a soap I picked up in a sale.
What can I say about this expensive soap, other than that it's ******* awful. Well a few things actually. It reminds me out when I tested out a soap made by an artisan who had no idea how to make a shave soap. The way the lather disappears so quickly after it goes on the face, means that I'm sure whoever is responsible for this soap hasn't a clue what they are doing either. I only paid about 40% of what Penhaligon's charge and I still think I got an awful deal. At least it smells decent, so it will become my go to soap for the shower for a while.
I had a much better shave today thankfully. I finished off a sample I received a while ago and it was so nice using a soap where the lather doesn't disappear of it's own accord.
