Another unknown brand.

Hi Folks,

A quickie project today. I got this bristle brush as part of a stand set. There are no markings anywhere but I kind of like the heft. I've never seen a brush with a stone base (marble?) before. The knot didn't look too bad but it was obviously worn, and I couldn't get a decent lather out of it. I replaced it with a TGN 22MM Boar.

First lather. I'll try it for a shave tomorrow.

Jerry; Nice job on replacing that knot! Just guessing, but it seems like the groove on the brush handle is specifc to that stand. Is there any markings on the underside of the stand base?

Just saw this, sorry! Thanks for the note. The brush and the stand were purchased as a set off the 'bay. There are no markings that I can find. I'm on the road right now, but I'll double check when I get home though.
