I'm making the conversion from DE to straights. I thought DE shaving was expensive, It's not in the ball park with nice and shiny straight razors. All my Gillettes will be on the auction block to fund my RAD for straight razors. The Razors are expensive and we haven't even looked at hones and strops.

Post #17 ought to explain it for me. Twas' my second shave in when the butchery occurred.

Drove the tip of a square point into my chin about an 1/8 of an inch when I first started. And I'm sure sooner or later, I will drop a straight while I am shaving in the shower.

I'll just have to 'tuck' and run when I cross that bridge.
