I pulled out the Coate’s Lime today….great choice! I loaded up my FH Tech with a 7 O’Clock Green SS and went to town. Very nice smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with Proraso Green for a little menthol kick.

Pre: Clinique Face Bar
Brush: Omega Boar
Cream: La Toja
Razor/Blade: RazoRock Jaws/Wilkinson Sword (S#4)
Post: Malaspina Tweedish Gent

Picked up some La Toja cream as part of a purchase on the B/S/T and really happy I did. Haven't used a cream in a long time, but this stuff is fantastic! Smells a bit different than the stick.

ICED KEY LIME | BLUEBEARDS | DE89L | MED PREP

$sotdjuly21.jpg

Nothing less than a perfect shave with this combo!! My menthol monday seems to be menthol midweek as well. These hot muggy days call for menthol on a daily basis. The british Bluebeards brush is a great brush. I love it for bowl lathering and face lathering.

FROST ROSE | SEMOGUE | DE89L | BOLZANO

$sotdjuly19.jpg

I missed posting this on Saturday as I cannot post in the SOTD my pics on Tapatalk. I have to mention how awesome the FITJAR Frost Rose is. I'm not normally a floral guy but after reading the recent thread on rose scents I figured I would give one a try. I am sure glad I did. I have no used it 5-6 times and I love it. It smells like an actual rose and the Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel is spot on for finishing the shave.

Brush: California Redwood Burl handle, 24mm TGN Finest 2-band
Razor: Merkur Digress
Blade: Ladas (2)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Myrsol Antesol

First shave with the Digress today. I initially used setting '3' and thought "Whoa!" and backed it down to 2 which was a lot more comfortable for me.
It is a very audible razor and gives great feedback. I got a 3-pass BBS with a single weeper which disappeared during the cold water rinse.
