Thanks, Lyle. I wasn't so much thinking of a "dream team" as I was "I wonder what would happen if...". Ms. Horn's appearance on Marian McPartland's show was less than inspiring after all.
I'd like to see Enrico Caruso, in his prime, get recorded with the benefit of modern recording quality. I suspect we can flesh that out with a list of three more, although the brain won't suggest any right now.
