Somehow it's only slightly less annoying when someone is doing it absent mindedly at a meeting. 
That and emergency tracheotomy tubes.
Way to go Andy! You just gave me a great percussion project for my general music classes. They create and compose their tunes. They video tape them. They rate and rank them against set criteria. I guide, model, mediate, and watch the mayhem!

I would think gold nibs would produce a more pure tone, don't you think?
Gold doesn't have a sonorous ring. It is too soft and pliable.
