Default My brush is on its last whim, should i wait or bite the bullet?

my current brush, Omega silvertip is losing about 1-2 hairs per shave and i dont know how much longer it will last, since i started shaving i have not caught BAD, so this is my only brush

should i buy something now, like a shavemac in finest, or wait for the BBE which is around the corner?

You could buy a c&e BBB and then get the Essential when it comes around too, and I'm sure you would have no problem passing the c&e on in the BST forum when you don't feel you need it anymore. Lord that was a lot of abbreviations for one post!

With the amount of hair an average size brush holds and by losing 1-2 hairs a shave you still have a loooooooong way to go until your omega becomes a skinhead.
My guess is that you're just finding an excuse to get yourself a new brush. Just admit that SBAD is slowly creeping in!
Welcome to the club and good luck with your quest because it's going to be a long and expensive ride.

I've also got an Omega silvertip (622) and it loses hair frequently (although not every shave). This was my first brush.

I snatched up the C&E Pure and Best brushes along with a Shavemac 944 and I think the world of all of these.

My vote: Spoil yourself on a Shavemac!

Well head over to the Buy/Sell/Trade section and post a want to buy ad OR, since you meet the requirements, sell some of your shave wares if you happen to have excess.

Don't wait, buy the Shavemac now. We don't know exactly how far away this corner is that the BBE is going to be coming around. It could be a corner in Katmandu, Nepal and it could be coming on foot. Once they do show up, the plan is for them to be a permanent item in the shop, so you will be able to get one later. Get the Shavemac, I doubt you will be disappointed.
