An Ever-Ready with a Feather Knot?

A guy over on Ebay emailed me in regards to this brush that has a knot made of feathers.

At first I thought he was mistaken and it may be a boar, but upon closer examination....

Anyone ever seen anything like this? This has to be a brush that someone custom made right? I've asked him to whip up a lather with it and see how it goes.

The only other feather shaving brush I've ever seen was one made by a prisoner of war, I believe in the Far East. From memory, the handle was just a lump of wood he'd carved to shape.

Search Fethabrush, they exist and were factory produced.

Thanks Scott! Is that your brush? Not very much information about the Fetha out there. I wonder if Ever-Ready made it.

I told him to soak and agitate it clean with warm water and dish soap. He claims the brush came to life and he really likes it. I've asked for some lather pics next.
