A portrait is great if it looks like these.

Might take a minute to load on a slow computer but wait it's worth it.

You may not have access to the "celebrity" but everyone has a face.

Here's what a good/great portrait looks like.

That is a pretty standard 'fashion' style portrait.

If you want to see how it was done, the first thing you do is look at the reflection of the lights in the eyes. Luckily, we can see the whole setup in Bono's sunglasses.

It is easy to get if you have a strobe, an umbrella (or softbox) and a camera on manual mode. Here is a tutorial on how to make it happen:

Although not as obvious, you can see the same thing happening in the other portraits. Just check out the reflections in the eyes.

I think some will make you want to pick up the camera
and others will make you want quit all together
they're that good - IMHO
