What's new

What is this razor?

I'm still new to all this... And having more fun shaving than a man should.

I recently acquired this razor. I believe it's a black handle flare tip super speed? Or is it a tech? Date code is O4. According to my research it's a 1969 Q4 model.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Anyway, first shave with this one with a new Astra blade was a DFS! Minimal irritation. (My other razor is a long handle, but the short handle is surprisingly easy in my big hands. )

Thanks in advance gentlemen!

J

Welcome to B&B, you found an excellent razor to break the ice! Enjoy your shaves with it.

Thanks again to all the experienced gentlemen here. I've been using the super speed exclusively now for about a week and I love it . My other (first) razor is a Merkur 32c long handle. Based on your experience, is the super speed more aggressive? Or is it just me?
