In addition, I just realized that there actually is a l'Occitane store at the Albuquerque Uptown plaza.

Sunflower Farmers Market
They seems to have weekly sales that rotate through their products, like 20% off all KMF cream etc.

KMF
Burt Bees

Goodluck!

Robert R Bailey located on Indian School Road - 6640, by Japanese Kitchen.

They carry the full line of Truefitt & Hill products, brushes, creams, oil, aftershave, gift sets, etc. etc.... Definately the best stocked store for T&H in Albuquerque!

Mr. Michael Turner - sales manager was very friendly and knowledgeable on the T&H line. I think he said this stores is one of the top store in the Southwest in selling their products.

He was kind enough to give me a small bag full of 12 3-ml samples of shave creams and ASB. I will definately return the favor by buying from him when its time.

I am still searching out places to get a "hands on" examination of products before I buy.

I recently realized Col Conk soap is made here in Los Lunas, NM! so I called them. 505-866-6230, 1-800-938-7428.

They rather you do business with their online store: http://www.colconkproducts.com/ but I got a feeling they can be persuaded to have you go by for a local pickup (saves $ on shipping)

They also give me places in Alb that carry Col Conk soap, two of them are already listed above:

Model Pharmacy, Stag Tobacco store,

the third one is Duran Pharmacy :1815 Central NW East of Rio Grande blvd 247-4141

By the way, Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens really don't have much, maybe some cheap DE blades and VdH products at Walmart, that's all. I waste my time there when the wife is shopping for her stuff.

I have not been there so maybe one of you can give a review :biggrin1:

Here are a couple for photos from Model Pharmacy. I went there this past weekend. They have a variety of soaps, creams and aftershaves also.

Thanks for this thread and info. I fly into ABQ on my way to Taos once a month for business from Houston. Do you folks know what selection of blades are available in either Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Taos? Just started DE shaving but want to keep traveling with a carry-on bag rather than checking it. I've partial to Astra SP's.

Look forward to stopping by that Model Pharmacy.

I have an Albuquerque store to add to the list:

Shaggy & Slicks
401 Romero St NW
Albuquerque NM 87104
505-690-2122
facebook.com/shaggyandslicks

Shaggy & Slicks has quite a variety of software and some good quality hardware from Rockwell and Merkur. If you are visiting Old Town in Albuquerque it's definitely worth a stop.
