Inexpensive Boar Brush

I would vote for the 1460. It looks great, murders soap, breaks in fast and had zero funk new. My go to brush is the 1305, but my 1460 is almost tied for number one in use.

Semogue disappointed me somewhat, but YMMV. If you like them, they must be great brushes, I think.

I found out that I prefer Omegas.

I love both of my boar brushes. I have a Semogue 1305 and an Omega 10098. Both perform beautifully, and the Omega 10098 makes an amazing lather in my mug. I purchased the Semogue 1305 specifically for face lathering my Arko shave sticks. Maybe not what everyone else would have recommended, but that is why I purchased it nevertheless.

Best of luck to you!

I owned an Omega 49 but pif'ed after a few months because I found it too big. I loved the 11047 mixed hair mighty midget. Yes it's small but it kills soap, it's nimble, and it holds plenty of lather for three passes properly loaded. Between the two Omegas, i'd pick the 11047.

I have no experience with any Semogues.
