SUPER ADJUSTABLE | THE HOLY BLACK | B&M SEVILLE | PERSONNA

$sotdmay20.jpg

I have to be honest. The shave itself didn't feel all that great despite a great lather from the B&M sample which I used like a shave stick and rubbed directly on my face. It was just 'meh'. however now a hour and a bit later my face feels great and I have a DFS shave!! I guess Id better use shampoo or conditioner on my beard in the shower from now on. That is the only difference from the past few shaves I have had which have been fantastic. My face feels super hydrated though so I will think I will give a similar set up a try tomorrow......maybe use a slim or Fatboy and the B&M Cheshire. Stay tuned to find out!!!!

Have a great day my friends

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Maggard Limes & Bergamot
Razor: Maggard MR1
Blade: Personna Med Prep (3)
Brush: oscar11-24mmx50mm-TGN 2-Band Finest
Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

This was my 2nd shave with the new Maggard Limes & Bergamot soap. I continued to be impressed. I went with my Maggard MR1 razor, a Personna Med Prep blade, and my oscar11 finest badger brush. The Limes & Bergamot soap, along with the oscar11, gave me a quick, easy lather with excellent glide and cushioning. Did I mention how nice the scent is? I finished up with Krampert’s Frostbite….great match up!

G20/cool water inside
G4 fatboy
Persona blue (3)
Nivea sensitive/AV ICE

WTG - ATG

I really like TGN's super finest. It is a fantastic knot. Softer than the f2 I have set at the same loft. No scritch, lots of back bone. I feel it may be more dense also. All around a great knot that I recommend trying. The Beach is a great performing soap as well. A Lot of glide and cushion.

Have a good day guys!
