Pilot Metropolitan vs Pilot MR

So I went looking for a Pilot Metropolitan FP today but it seems they only have the MR here in Malaysia. I tried asking the sales for the difference between them but he didn't really know. So have anyone here tried the Pilot MR? How does it compare to the Metropolitan?

I have a Pilot MR. Well, actually I bought it for Mrs Nightshade.

It is exactly the same as the metropolitan, with one crucial difference - the MR uses international standard cartridges/ converters, where as the metropolitan uses Pilots proprietary cartridges/ converters. Other than that, they're entirely the same pen.

I believe it is also sold under the name Cocoon in other markets too.

The only real problem with the MR is finding a decent converter. I originally used a Pelikan one, however the fit wasn't quite right and it leaked. As far as I know, Pilot don't make an international sized converter that will fit the MR - you'll have to look at other manufactures for one.
