Anyone heard about them, are they good?, bad?

Waterstones come in grits from 80 to 30,000. Selection depends on their intended use. What are you looking to do?

Since I post this at B&B the question goes more like: Is an japanese stone good for honing an razor.
If you don't have access to buy like norton 4k/8k etc, would an Toishi be an ok alterntive?
I have my stones, but I know some people around here which havent found stones yet, and I found this tool supplier who sells Toishi.
But I guess the option for us over here is to order stones etc from usa instead.
I found some prices for DMT diasharp here now,only the D6 series now, but the price for an D6E is the same as what I had to pay for customs for my D8EE. So good alternative stones to the standard setup would be kinda ok.

No, neither hone you have mentioned (the dmt, or the Toishi) would be fine enough.
