Day 1-Monday-Stirling “7’s” Week
7 Days: 7 Stirling Soaps, 7 Brushes, 7 Razors, 7 Blades, 7 Aftershaves
Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Razor: Gillette NEW Short Comb
Blade: Personna Med Prep (1)
Brush: Omega 10066 Boar-24mmx54mm
Aftershave: Krampert’s Frostbite
WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)
My first “7’s” Shave: 7 Days, 7 Razors, 7 Blades, 7 Stirling Soaps, 7 Brushes. A match made in heaven on all fronts. The MITA is one of my favorite Stirling soaps. It has just the right touch of menthol for me and lathers like a champ. My $9 Omega boar will keep up with any of the rest. This was one great shave: smooth, close, and nick free. I finished up with Krampert’s Frostbite. It is a perfect match with the MITA.

Proraso Sensitive - Semogue 2011 LEFB1 - 6/8 Revisor - Myrsol Agua De Limon

Welcome to the new week, gentlemen. Recently, Mel (warhawk) suggested the idea of pairing a new item with an old one. It sounded like a great idea to me. I decided to pull out a vintage Gillette Senator (with a Feather blade) and pair it with a modern Semogue 610. I chose Mike's Rose and Cedarwood shave soap and a splash of Captain's Choice Lime aftershave. Then I pulled out my vintage (circa 1988) Giorgio of Beverly Hills VIP. The bottle is getting low and it hasn't been produced in years, but is still a great 80s powerhouse scent.

how do you like the rose and cedarwood soap? I have some on order from mikes and am excited for it to arrive
I'm a big rose fan so it's up my alley. It lathers easily like all Mike's soaps seem to do.
