    Monday:

    Merkur 1904/Euro Gillette
    Men-u Premiere Synthetic
    SI Dragons Blood Soap
SI Les Vinaigre de Tiolette A/S Splash
    Trumpers Limes Skinfood

    L'Occitane Green Tea EDT

May have to use this soap in the shower Smells great....but it is a new formulation and I think it contains too much shea butter. My face feels oily after use and too much drag during shaving. Had to rescue the last pass with some Erasmic soap which is pure glycerine.

How do you like the Men-U Premieere Brush? It was the first brush I ever owned, and although I didn't like it to begin with, lately I have been impressed with its performance. It would be interesting to know what others thought of it
    Warm regards,

    Default Monday

I started today off with two days of stubble:

Merkur HD w/ New Derby Extra
    Vulfix 2234
    Alum Block
Mama Bear's Soap - Rosemary Mint
    Thayer's WH
    Proraso pre/post

    Drakkar Noir EDT

A very 'cold' shave and I knew it was a great when I didn't even get the slightest tingle from the alum bar.

    My face feels grrrreeeeaat!

    Shave O' the day (Monday):

    - Merkur Progress with WS blade
    - T&H Limes (brush "primmed" with KMF olive oil soap)*
    - AOS alum block
    - Thayers lemon WH
    - T&H Ultimate comfort balm

    * Unlike the Taylor's Lemon & Lime this cream can hold it's scent against the powerful KMF olive oil scent.

    Hi Alex.

I like it ....but not as much as my badger brushes. The Men-U brush could almost make lather from a stone. My major problem is the rigidity of the bristle. The brush has a tendency to flick lather and water everywhere. Takes an awfully long time to clean the mess off the mirror!!

    Gillette Adjustable
    Merkur blade
    Vulfix 403
    Taylor's St. James Shave Stick
    Alum
    Thayer's lavender WH
    Taylor's Eton College A/S
    GFT Coral Skinfood

THis was my first time with a shave stick; probably my last, unless I can find a better way to lather. I felt the loss of the shave oil, this time... I should have oiled up for the second pass, once my brush was lathered...

    Itsa Proraso day...

1960 Fat Boy with a day 2 Derby
    Simpson Chubby#2 Super
    Proraso Pre/Post
    Proraso in the green tube
    Proraso Liquid Post
    Floris Santal Extreme EdT

I love this 1960 Fat Boy - what a great razor! I have it set on 4 and the shaves are really fantastic so far. First time using the Proraso Liquid post stuff - picked it up at Target yesterday. Not bad at all, but not as good as the Feather Kanwa. I'll save it for my "All Proraso Day" - this stuff will be in my rotation for the rest of my life I think...

    Merkur Vision w/ Feather
    Merkur "Vision" Silvertip
    Trumpers Violet
    Alum Block
    Trumpers Coral Skin Food
    Dolce & Gabbana EDT

First time using a Feather blade. An unbelievably close shave. The Vision-Feather combo worked great for me! I gave the combo a great deal of respect and it rewarded me with one of my best shaves ever!
