SOTD "Flowery Scents" Theme Week 5-11 May 2014

Spring has finally arrived in its full glory. We'll welcome May's flowers with some flowery scents of our own. As the IOTW is "Flowery Scents" both this week and next, we will switch up the theme next week. To give you time to prepare, next week's theme will be "Something Old, Something New" which will combine the best of your modern and vintage gear.

For today's shave, I've broken out a floral bouquet. I started with lavender shave soap, added a rose balm and finished with lavender, geranium, carnation and jasmine in my EdT.

Today was truly a “Vintage” shave. I received a box of Gillette Super Stainless Steel “Spoilers” with my Ball End Tech. I used one for the first time today. I slipped it into my New SC, lathered up with the discontinued Coate’s cream using my vintage Chesterfield brush that GDCarrington built for me. What a GREAT shave! I finished up old school with Clubman.
