Which Tie?

It is a governmental auditing interview. Trying to be very conservative with my attire. At least for the first interview. The only other suitable tie that is lighter is a baby blue tie. Figure that would be too flashy.
There is someone in government who is a huge fan of baby blue and charcoal, and whether you like his politics or not, it's a sharp look:

Oh, I love the look. Love the tie. But, is it right for an interview?
Isn't that the question of the day. I haven't been on an interview in 14 years, so I might not be the best to ask (and I wear a uniform, so no help there). I think confidence and being yourself are key. Those are lofty words and probably not helpful. Maybe try out the combo in a mirror or try both looks run at the local cafe to get some opinions (and some digits, surely :001_smile)
 
I'd go with the blue striped in the middle, go for the conservative tie for the interview, and break out the gold one for when you get the job :biggrin1:
