Just did my first DE shaving with my new EG86 and I can certainly see why people say that you have to get a technique down. I made sure and watched several videos and read articles here, but nothing can prepare you for when you actually do it. I still ended up treating it like I was using a Gillette Fusion and was pressing down. When I saw that I missed an area I didn't apply more cream. Several newbie mistakes. Luckily didn't destroy my face but did get a few nicks. I definitely see it will take a bit longer to get down then I had originally thought.
