DouSharp 09 micron/1200 mesh

First, I am NOT talking about honing my first razor (that razor is just fine). I am talking about honing some razor that I may buy in the future.

I have a DouSharp 09 micron/1200 mesh (25 micron on the other side). Would the 9 micron side me suitable for setting the bevel on a razor? Additionally, if it is suitable would my four sided pasted paddle strop (3, 1, 0.5, 0.25) be adequate to take it the rest of the way to shaving sharp?

9 Micron is fine for setting a bevel. As for the pastes taking it where you want to go? You could probably get away with it.... only way to find out it to try it!
