I had my first Shave with a DE this morning! I used a Merkur 1904 classic, noxzema as a pre-shave, tons sandalwood creme, tons sandalwood aftershave gel. I must say it was the most comfortable shave I have ever had. I didn't even feel the razor cutting the hair except for a little on my AGT pass. It took 3 full passes to get a good close shave, but it is really close! I wasn't comfortable trying XTG on my neck so I did 2 WTG passes before ATG. Now, to wait a while and see how I did! Hopefully there won't be much razor burn! Thank you to everybody on the forum for all the great advice!
