Hey Malocchio, I had the same question when this came out. I was overwhelmed by the 'reviews' that were coming forth before the units were even shipped. I need to go back and see what some of the early adopters are actually saying. Some think this is another of the same old thing and late to the party but I think Amazon may be on to something here. You know this thing is going to have a 'buy now' button function somewhere on it.

One downside I see is no HBO Go. Thats huge if your an HBO subscriber(or somehow got a password from a coworker or friend

The lack of HBO Go support is annoying. Roku does not fully support it either.
