While hunting about for a travel strop, I figured I'd check with Mr. Miller to see if he had any "Plain Vanilla" strops lying around; he didn't.
But, what he did have was one piece of 2 1/2" Fast Bridle which he advised was a "second" as it had a flaw somewhere (though for the life of me I can't see where). I was quoted a thoroughly reasonable price and it was a done deal.
After a couple weeks it arrived. Cowabunga!! What a fine looking bit of work. The Fast Bridle has a completely different feel to it from my Old No.2 and I cannot wait to give it a workout. Once again, Tony Miller proves that he is a guy who knows how to make a strop. Thank you sir....
