I enjoyed the TABAC!! First time using it. What a great performing soap. The smell reminded me of antiperspirant, but it wasn't awful like I was preparing myself for. Performance wise this may be my favorite soap to date. Especially paired with the Semogue 610.

Cheapest razor? Not exactly. Actually, with arrival in the mail this morning of my most costly razor, it goes without saying that I was not going to shave with cheapest razor. Not today and probably not for several days. An ATT H2 landed along with several Myrsol tonics and potions from Bull Goose and a tin of Mike's Barbershop arrived from Mike. A late shave for me today, with the unpleasant intrusion of a hellacious amount of work. The H2 is a wonderful tool that will probably take a little getting used to before I am totally at ease with its awesome efficiency. The Mike's soap is terrific. With four new Myrsol scents/mixes to choose among, I ended up splashing on some Blue immediately after my shave and some Agua Balsamica a bit later.

Ahhh, the midnight hour shave. Very relaxing and enjoyable. One razor today; the straight. Three passes. WTG, XTG, ATG. I don't know whether to call it CCS or Darned Fine Shave, but I got a very close, quite comfortable shave over all. The only bit of discomfort, and I'm not sure I could call it that, was under the jawline and along the neck. Still working on the angle there, so not as comfy as the rest of the shave.
But, I got a shave so close(even my chin) that there was zero point in a clean up with the DE.
I have been using too shallow of an angle(20 degrees or less), and the blade has been cutting some, and skipping over other areas. Opened that angle up just a bit, and now getting a great shave!
Still ill, but feeling a lot better. I think it's pretty much done for, thank God.
Have a great shaver, everyone!
