What's new

Ordered a bottle of Creed GIT

There are some similar notes, and probably quite a bit of dihydromyrcenol in both of them, but to me CW is a mess, with nasty note clashes and a generic "woody amber" in the base. GIT is more focused and the notes work together nicely, with an excellent amber/sandalwood base. And the new CW is a fuzzy, "laundry musk" formulation that screams "generic," though I prefer it to the Lancaster formulation I have (I keep a little for reference). GIT has clear violet leaf whereas CW as neroli and tobacco, along with the differences in the base. I'm surprised so many "experts" can't seem to notice this, but I can only speak to what I experienced.

Im getting down to the bottom of the bottle I own. The only question I have is if I should buy another bottle, or if I should get a Flacon.
