Cigar Sampler I Could Not Pass Up

One more word of advice for everyone that just bought that humidor:
The hygrometer comes with a warning that politely asks you not to press on the glass portion of the face when you insert it into the humidor. Don't ask me how I know, but you want to heed that warning.
Should you mess up, the hygrometer will still work, just won't be as pretty. Again, don't ask me how I know.

Out of curiosity, what else did you get?

Felipe Origins 8-cigar sampler, Torpedo http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/75662/ -- This is the sort of bargain gamble that usually works out well for me. Reviews on CI are mixed, and I couldn't find any reviews elsewhere.

Stokkebye 17 English Luxury pipe tobacco, bulk, 2oz http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/39998/ -- I like 2 out of the 3 Stokkebye Englishes I found at my B&M, one of which may have been named incorrectly...either this is another I'll probably like, or it's the incorrectly named one and I'll know the correct name.

Orlik Golden Sliced http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/39969/ -- Someone here smokes it (I don't remember who but I know I see it mentioned often) and it sounds good, and the price is right.

Balkan Sasieni http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/39848/ -- Sounds good, the price is right...I might like it, I might hate it, I'll find out.

Pipe rubber bits http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/66621/ -- Never tried them, now I guess I will...probably could just as easily use some grommets from a pack I bought at the auto parts store though, or of course cut a piece of tubing as described by at least one B&B member here on BL.

Medico pipe filters http://www.cigarsinternational.com/product/66614/ -- I like these and intend to grab a few packs every time I order from anywhere that sells them.

Nice, I ended up making a second order of a jar of humi-care beads, a better cutter (Colibri), and a 50ct box of Irish whiskey maduro cigarillos (makes a good cheap fast smoke on nice days at work on break).

Great choices all around. I'm smoking the PS Luxury English right now, and its very similar to Dunhill 965.

I've been smoking cigars for years, but I'm relatively new to pipes. I picked up a tin of this last month and I think it is superb. One of my favorite blends I have tried so far.

Good call; beads make humidifying easier, and Colibri is one of the best brands of cutters out there (the other being Xikar).

I had a small budget when I bought mine and only added a dual flame zippo insert and a cutter. I wanted to add more but couldn't LOL! I figured the cutter was needed and a torch lighter would make my life easier as I only have pipe zippos.

Thanks for for the info on the hydrometer, I got my shipment info from them yesterday so It is on its way here!!! I hope my first experience with a cigar goes well!

That's great to hear. Dunhill 965 is near the top of my list but I couldn't bear to buy a $10 tin when I'm already doubling my planned overspending.

Also great to hear!

I got home today and there was a box waiting. I was stoked and amazed. :w00t: Looking at it, it seemed a little small. :07: I picked it up and it was way too heavy. I looked at the label and it was from some kitchen company for my wife.

...just now I remembered I had it shipped to work anyway.

Mine arrived today. Nice looking setup for sure. I, however, forgot to pick up distilled water on my way home, so I'll have to start the seasoning tomorrow.

I had to look it up, even though I have been involved with Spanish speakin women for 24 years, but I totally agree.

Totally agree, but I have had problems with the company a few times before and am terrified every time I place an order with them. I'm sure it will be correct but I can't help but think of my past troubles.
