    Cool Citrus and Oceanic fragrances?

What are some of the better fragrances (colognes/aftershaves . . . ) have Citrus or Oceanic "flavors?"

T&H 1805 is the archetype of "oceanic" (I hate that term). For citrus, there are about two zillion scents.

My favorite citrus fragrance is Penhaligon's Douro. Are you looking for a pure citrus fragrances or are you looking for citrus mixed in with other notes (woods, spices, florals, etc.)?

Penhalligon's Quercus and Castile are both very citrusy while still being a masculine scent.

Truefitt & Hill's Clubman is a nice choice. It's basically a modern oceanic-style fragrance, but it also has a nice citrus-mint counterpoint that gives it a little extra classy edge. I don't wear oceanic scents, including this one, but when I sampled it I did admire its construction. I think it's a very good younger man's fragrance for general wear.

(EDIT:) Also, a very inexpensive but entirely respectable cologne is Pashana Original -- also sometimes tackily billed as "In the Mood." This is the clear cologne, not the amber after shave. Despite its name, it's a good basic clean oceanic scent.

    Tim,

    Citrus:
Castile by Penhaligon , smells like those groves up there.
Eau d'Orange Verte by Hermès, very old stand by.
    Floris Limes, smells like margaritas.
Floris Pink Grapefruit, smells tasty too.
Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme, lemon hints & affordable.
Carolina Herrera, both 212 men & aqua 2 of my favorites.
Chrome by Azzaro, citrus hints and clean.
Most of the Summer colognes: Summer by Tommy Hilfiger , CK, L'Eau
    D'Issey pour Homme Summer

Ocean: This is a difficult smell so here's my attempt
Erolfa by Creed, the box has a sailing ship on it.
Floris Cefiro , very light and clean.
The Summer colognes above could also fit well especially the T. Hilfiger.

    Tim,

I have only tried Em's aftershave balm and it was quite nice. Hopefully someone else has tried one of her fragrances and can offer an opinion.

It may not be upper crust but Florida Water is about as citrusy as I have smelled this side of rubbing a lime all over myself..........It was the Tequilla....Don't ask!!
