One is faux Ivory plastic the other a clunky amber

If you can find this exact material I'd go for it, otherwise I'd go with bone.

I thought of Camel bone and Abalone but if I can find a really nice as close to Genuine Tortoise, I would prefer it.

That is a good look. My 30 and 31 are in ivory and I like them aged. I really like the shape of original scales too.

Yeah I think it will be hard to find the same material as used for the old celluloid tortoise scales. I've also searched a lot for it without much success.

Im hopeful but i do agree it wont be easy

Btw stay away from the tortuga from masecraft it's not very quality (just in case you didn't know tortuga is another name for tortoise shell)... Did a preliminary search for ya... The closest think I could come up with is guitar pick guard but it was two ply so useless
