Default Is there a secret to the timing of things?

I see the different aftershave products and regimens of members being posted. My question is...does one product follow another immediately (ie. cold water, witch hazel and aftershave balm) or should there be time elapse in between aftershave products?

Shouldn't really be a time lapse between products. Cold water rinse, pat dry. Then splash on the witch hazel and as the face is still damp put on the a/s balm. The witch hazel helps the a/s spread throughout your face really good. Some guys splash on the witch hazel and then splash on a/s lotion or rub on a/s balm right before stepping out for the office. I just splash/ rub it all on at once 'cause I like to rub any leftover on my neck and chest.

With me it depends on what I am going to use. Some products react differently and have different effects if applied on a wet/moist vs. dry face. Experiment and see what works best for you, your face and the products you use.

I generally use a balm after my last cold rinse. then I go about getting ready for work, letting the balm soak in. a couple minutes later I hit it with an alcohol splash. I have learned that I am the odd man out on this, but I like my A/S scent to be on top. probably doesn't matter, its just how I roll man

That's funny, I apply the other way around. On days that I use both splash and balm I always apply the slash to my still moist face, and then wait a few seconds before applying the balm. Always from light to heavy. That's how I roll.

I do things simply. I splash on Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner and let things go at that. I love the smell and it last quite awhile. At times though I will apply an alcohol free balm but usually after allowing the Thayer's to dry.
