I recently purchased this from the BB Marketplace.
It's in nice condition and I was wondering how to tell what year it is. There are no numbers or letters on it (other than Reg US Patent, Made in USA and The Gillette logo).
thanks

Thanks for the replies so far.
So it's likely between '39 and ??
Did the 60's models look like that?
Is it odd that it has no date code?
The dating page says parallel slots were introduced in '52. I know that's not accurate, because I have a '51 with parallel slots, and I've owned two NDC 40s Techs with them as well. I own a '39 that has the triangular slots. Does yours have "Gillette" etched on top of the head? If so, my guess is 44-46. If not, I would guess '39 to early 40s (like my 39). I wonder if this might be a WW2 US Military Officer set?

Thanks guys.
Based on what I've read in a few other threads as well it looks like a 39 - early 40s as well. No Gillette etching on top. I was hoping it was a pre-war or war-era Tech.
My grandfather was in WWII. I wonder if he shaved with one.
