I was bored so I checked out ebay today, and think I did well. Got this for $15! Next I need to get it honed and polished up!

Or you could try honing it yourself.
A King 1k/6k combo could suffice. The 1K is great for the bevel and the 6K is 2microns (finer than a Norton 8K).
It would just take a while, but I have set bevel on the 6K as it cuts fast.
I think the combo is only 40$ or so.

Good snag. Very good. I learned far more from my 15 dollar razors than from my expensive ones. Of course, some of them died in the unavoidable course of events, but such is the tragic nature of education.

Thanks for the advice! I was looking at one of those kits from Whipped Dog, but this is another option for me. For now, I want to work on shaving with the straights first, then progress to honing though.
