What do you guys think about the Teeth on Merkur Open combs? Are they fairly strong? Has anyone had them broken? I have one of these I bought for 30 bucks or so, Open Comb Long handle, its a 25C. Aside from the blade being skewed when its tightened, the teeth seem fine after the drop. Yeah I accidentally dropped it, but I'm wondering if the teeth will break easily...Any views on this?

I don't think the open comb models of Merkurs are at all fragile. Heck, I've been shaving with mine for the past couple of weeks and even banged it against the sink occasionally when rinsing it.
The open combs on some models of Gillettes are more fragile, I had to straighten a tooth on one that I bought.
