SOTD "Finest and Best Knots" Theme Week 24 Feb-2 Mar 2014

As February finally ends, the SOTD theme is finest and best knots. For me, Best Badger brushes hit the sweet spot. I thought I'd start with a small but mighty brush that punches well above its weight, and in so doing, shows what the knot does best. It's a great face lathering brush which stands out when used with a quality shave stick.

Clubman Morning. I just finished four shaves with the 7 O’Clock Yellow and wanted to give the Russian Greenie a run for a change. I covered the Stirling Clubman puck with hot water while I showered. I loaded my brush for 10 seconds and had great lather for my 3-pass shave. The Russian Green and Slim gave me a great shave! I finished up with Clubman.

A Semogue 2010 Badger is great for face lathering da Fat (MWF), with a little scritchiness. Cut down the growth with a Feather AS-D2 and a Feather blade (3) to get a BBS in 2-passes plus touch-up. Cold water rinse and finish off with some Lush moisturiser for a buttery-smooth face. A little Tom Ford for scent and out the door.
