Gentlemenly Restraint for Lent

One month until Lent begins. I was considering starting a Gentlemanly Restraint for Lent thread but SWMBO has continued the shaving purchase moratorium until further notice so that would be disingenuous. I would offer to coordinate it but I may just go for a B&B Sabbatical and give up B&B entirely for Lent. Crazy talk I know. If someone else wants to do GRFL I think it is a good idea.

Since I'm Jewish, if I were to buy supplies or equipment for those that would hold off through Lent, as sort of a conduit for them, would that be considered cheating?

You never know when that once-in-a-lifetime deal might pop up.

Finally, a sabbatical I actually have a chance of successfully completing: 40 days... I can do that.
