SOTD "Restored Brushes" Theme Week 27 Jan - 2Feb 2014

Welcome to another week. Last week saw some fantastic photos of your oldest razors, and I was fascinated by some of the vintage aftershaves that popped up the week before. This week, break out any brushes that have been restored. If you can, please post a photo of your brush. If you restored it yourself, show us the before and after shots if you have them.

Unfortunately, I don't have the artistic ability of some of the members here, so I'm content to sit back and admire those who do. The best I can do is to post my photos in black and white this week, in honor of those vintage brushes that have been brought back to life.

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I used the LEA cream from Spain for the first time today. I paired it with the Slim loaded with a new Rapira Swedish Supersteel Blade. The LEA lathered up very easily with a great fresh “soap” scent. I had an excellent smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with the LEA Aftershave Balsam. Great start to the work week!
